In this course, students learn about modern image processing algorithms on FPGA-based structures. The different subjects are as follows:

  • Modern Image Sensors
  • Advanced VHDL
  • FPGAs in Cameras
  • Reception and Deserialization of Digital Image Data
  • Architectures for Processing of Data Streams in Real-Time

 The lecture is accompanied by lab assignments with VHDL circuit design and visualization of image processing results.
