Our Master's course in figures

Our best figure is a very low one, and we are really proud of it: 5%

It represents the percentage of international students who have given up their Master studies. Compared to the nationwide average (50% international students abandon their studies in Germany), we consider our quality label as justified.

However, also their fellow students coming from a German university do honour to our programme: fewer than 6% of them did not finish their studies in the past years, almost without exception to change to professional life.

Some more figures:

  • ca. 600 Master degrees awarded,
  • of that, over 220 international students as degree holders,
  • more than 100 registrations each semester,
  • programme participants from roughly 40 countries,
  • 12% Master degree holders in their PhD,
  • a large number of scholarships (DAAD, industry, sponsor programmes...)

The Master in Information Technology is the only Master’s course in electrical engineering sciences nationwide to have been awarded the 'TOP10 International Master's Degree Courses made in Germany' quality label from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Donors' Association for the Promotion of Science.
