Application procedure

Please contact the coordination center in Konstanz for the recognition of certificates before application. The application is then submitted to the Applicant Portal at Mannheim University of Applied Sciences.

Application deadlines
> July 15 for the winter semester
> January 15 for the summer semester

Information
Copies of the following documents must be uploaded with the application:

> Higher education entrance qualification  (Abitur or equivalent)

> Proof of German language skills (for International applicants)

> a letter of application, which also indicates the intended specialisation courses and - if available - the Information on employment after the first degree,

> the certificate of a Bachelor's degree (or International equivalent) in electrical engineering, information technology or computer science,

> proof of vocational training, practical work or other achievements.

Admission requirements

> Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with

  >> at least 210 ECTS credits
(In the case of a degree with 180 ECTS credits, admission is subject to the condition that the missing credits are completed during the master's program)

  >> a minimum 3-month Bachelor thesis

> Field of study with a major in information technology, computer science, or electrical engineering.

> Minimum average grade for a master in Medical Engineering and Computer Engineering: better than or equal to 2.5 (or international equivalent)

> Minimum average grade for a master in Information Technology: not required

Fulfillment of these requirements is necessary for participation in the selection process, but does not guarantee admission.
